The quaint Mexican beach town of Los Ayala boasts a strong community spirit. Residents and vacationers work together to enhance the quality of life for all. This little community is pro-active and boasts a strong team spirit.
Los Ayala is also part of the larger community of Jaltemba Bay which includes the neighbouring towns of Rincon de Guayabitos, La Penita de Jaltemba and La Colonia. Being a community within a community is rewarding and everyone work together to support each others initiatives.
You can make a difference by volunteering to help out with one of many volunteer projects and fund-raising initiatives; or simply by attending one of the many Special Events and Mexican Fiestas hosted to support a great cause.
Los Amigos de Jaltemba
Los Amigos de Jaltemba, is a community service organization comprised of residents and members of the local community and exists to serve and advocate for the people of La Peñita, the surrounding Colonias, and the community at large.
Jaltemba Bay Foundation
The Jaltemba Foundation is a philanthropic organization that combines the charitable gifts of many to provide leadership and financial leverage in addressing the current and future needs of the Jaltemba Bay community through various grant making activities designed to improve the lives of our local citizens.
Jaltemba Bay Animal Rescue
Established in 2003 by Lin Chimes of Los Ayala, Nayarit, Mexico, Jaltemba Bay Animal Rescue advocates humane and healthy practices for animals in the Jaltemba area by promoting health, education, spay and neutering, adoptions, foster care and positive relationships with animals and their owners. JBAR also works to find homes for street dogs and cats
Rotary Club Jaltemba Bay
Rotarians working together for the community of Jaltemba Bay. The Rotary Club of Jaltemba Bay meets at the Pina Colada restaurant in Guayabitos, every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m.
