Popular for its kilometer long beach with soft sand, dense jungle vegetation and clear blue-green ocean waters, calm enough for children and non-swimmers; this little paradise is just now becoming discovered as second home destination as seen by a small, but growing number of Canadian/US expatriates.

Life in this authentic usually tranquil, Mexican beach town is casual and relaxed. The towns two main streets are paved with interlocking brick but the remaining streets are still sand, and happily shared with roosters, chickens, horses and even the occasional stray goat - adding to its charm.

In town, a variety of shops, grocery stores and services to meet most tourists needs. Los Ayala offers an abundance of beach front restaurants and dining out here is very affordable!
