" A Chaleco "
Something that is obvious; that should be, or must be, done.
Something that is said more often than it is done; often used in reference to commitments made by business people.
Los Ayala
Local Folks - OJ & Dulce
OJ first visited Rincon de Guayabitos when he was a child. He did not return for another visit for thirty years.
Since OJ's wife Dulce has a medical condition which is alleviated by sunny, warm climates, they frequently traveled to Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta. Thirty years later, he came for another visit to Rincon de Guayabitos, this time with his wife Dulce and only because they could not secure a hotel reservation in Nuevo Vallarta. During their stay in Guayabitos, OJ & Dulce quickly became enamored with the Jaltemba Bay area because of its' natural beauty; and the seemingly endless beautiful locales it offered to discover and explore.
One day while exploring Jaltemba Bay they discovered a remarkable place called "Villas del Tropico" in Los Ayala. They fell in love with the breathtaking views, the surrounding nature, abundant lush foliage, and the tranquil environment. OJ enjoys outdoors activities immensely and realized right then and there, that this was the perfect place for a second home for his family.
Soon after their first visit to Los Ayala, they met a gentleman called Mr. Humberto who owned a home in the Villas del Tropico complex. He took OJ and Dulce on a tour in Los Ayala, showing them more beautiful places. The surrounding nature and scenery was so striking that they could never imagine such natural beauty existed just an hour north of Puerto Vallarta.
OJ began to do a little research and found out that the weather conditions in the Jaltemba Bay area is very similar to the Hawaiian Islands which further confirmed that Los Ayala was the spot for his family. He bought a lot of land in Villas del Tropico and Mr. Humberto built him a beautiful house, which they named "La Casa de Dulce" .
Since that time, OJ and his family came to vacation in their new home, whenever they could, as frequently as possible. They came to enjoy interacting with both the locals and foreigners, finding the community here to be unique, warm and friendly.
OJ says, "The Jaltemba bay area is growing and developing quickly, yet you still feel that you are living with nature and surrounded by a big and loving family. Los Ayala, and the Jaltemba bay area is a great vacation spot for all ages. There are a lot of activities and places to visit; so many that you won´t have enough time to do all them!"
Just last year, OJ and Dulce opened their vacation home to guests because they wanted to share their special spot which they refer to as "Heaven", with others. They have found that the experience of sharing their home with others enriches their lives, and they especially enjoy it when their guests tell them all about their "Magical Experiences in Los Ayala."
